Spring Storm Empty Spring Storm

It looks like a low pressure system formed over Missouri and started moving NE. There were high pressure systems over New York - Nova Scotia and one near Hudson's Bay. The low pressure system as it moved NE began to "pull" from the high pressure systems (pressure trying to equalize from a wide pressure gap). This is creating strong winds and turbulent weather. ton

I'm currently in Toronto and the weather here is rainy and windy. Apparently the winds may hit 90 km/hr tonight.

We're in the middle of it, right now. Lots of snow and blowing snow. By the time I walked a circuit around the trails, the first footprints were already filled in. Despite this the top of the point is being scoured bald by wind off the lake and our door got blown open!
