Cars are becoming more like computers. If you buy a factory model, you better be ready to remove/disable some pre-loaded junk. The number one thing to remove is all the pointless beeping and honking.

Here are some tips Stef and I discovered and put into use for our Forester.

I nostalgically picture a paranoid loner searching air vents and the back of an extremely heavy cubic tv for nefarious listening devices.  Now we pay at premium to fill our houses with them.
