Tim Carleton & Darrick Deel "Opus No. 1" (a.k.a. Cisco Hold Music)

I have loved being put on hold by one school board in my area *for years* as this plays while you wait. From the very first sound I find myself grooving to its strange synth sounds in my office and thinking this song is pretty funky for a school board.



I finally tracked down this song early this calender year when I was placed on hold by Fed Ex and recognized it.

I was surprised to find out that it is a well known song for CISCO who used it as a default on hold song for their phone system. It was supposedly written by two teenagers in 1989 and was used because one of the teens then went to work for CISCO.

Great song.
