Myers Briggs Personality
I know this test isn't exactly accurate but I have found it to be a decent personality type test.
I was curious to see if other people have taken it and what other peoples results were?
Here is my results if anyone is interested.
INFP
Introvert(56%) iNtuitive(22%) Feeling(53%) Perceiving(69%)
You have moderate preference of Introversion over Extraversion (56%)
You have slight preference of Intuition over Sensing (22%)
You have moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (53%)
You have distinct preference of Perceiving over Judging (69%)
I had asked Linda and Torgo to take the test a while back. I know Linda was ISTJ and I believe Torgo was an ENFP.

Re: Myers Briggs Personality
Long time INTP.
There is an astrology aspect to most personalities tests (and modern psychology has little time for them) but I like Myers Briggs' Jungian roots.
I'm clearly an Introvert (I find socializing/teaching to be exhausting), Thinking over Feeling (oh yeah!), Perceiving over Judging (my cognitive process is completely amoral - a vital attribute for philosophy but my humor gets dark pretty fast).
I could never understand the 'Intuition' ranking until I read Jung and realized it wasn't some mystical hippie thing but my brain's preference to run giant simulations and make connections rather than plod systematically. My brain gets some sort of reward (dopamine?) when it pieces something together or finds insights in overlooked places, while I just sort of sit-back and watch it go.
My basic pattern is to binge on data while letting my amoral pattern recognition systems go wild (Perceiving/Intuitive) than go for a walk by myself and ruthlessly sort the insights (Introvert/Thinking).
One of the best parts of this test is that it gets you looking at your brain as an engine inside your head running different processes that are largely separate from you and (to switch over to FJ mode) it does help me understand how other brains process stuff so I avoid misunderstanding becoming worse. It also tells you what you are weak in and so gets expressed in weird ways. For example my atrophied extrovert side tends to come out in my dreams where I seem to spend too much time at boring social events...

Re: Myers Briggs Personality
A few of my favorite INTP graphs
- Spoiler:
BUT if you can stand our aloofness -
[An INTP's 'Feeling' function is well-guarded by a high-octane combat-ready intellect so it is safe to be almost purposefully naive in their love and friendship - but you will almost never see this function outside and undefended.]
We are also general poor and male....

Re: Myers Briggs Personality
Your personality type: “The Mediator” (INFP-T)
Strength of individual traits: Introverted: 84%, Intuitive: 75%, Feeling: 59%, Prospecting: 78%, Turbulent: 77%.
Role: Diplomat
Strategy: Constant Improvement
Huh... I think that's actually astonishingly accurate. My father's always been a Mediator, He often took the role of the peacekeeper while raising me so Now that I think about it the way I do things and handle situations very much reflects the way he raised me.
I almost always keep to myself but if someone comes to me and asks For help at the very least I'm going to give them a few Solutions to their problems.
Also that last picture from Hobbs is totally me! whenever I was planning to get into an argument or bring something up that I knew was going to cause said argument I would run over exactly what I would say until he either forgot about it or brought it up
Hell sometimes after reading political posts I pretend I'm a politician and I argue my point's in front of a Senate! All for fun of course..... No other reason that might include world domination!
"INFP personalities are true idealists" YUP That pretty much sums me up right there. I've always considered myself a socialist idealist, lol Also try Saying socialist idealist Five times.
https://www.16personalities.com/infp-personality "INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the INFP personality type" YAY I'm the top 4%!!!!!!!
