Ha! I just came on to post the same video (it is a little longer). Our fence stood its ground and our siding is intact. As far as we've noticed so far there has been no damage to us.

It wasn't a hurricane but it had some pretty impressive gusts of wind. I think the airport had gusts into the 120 km/hr range. I heard some people reporting via their own weather stations of winds almost hitting 140 km/hr. And one part of the island was close to 160 km/hr gusts. The sustained winds were not high enough for it to be a hurricane.

I'm hoping we get another hurricane before we go. I know it is kind of a weird request but it is just something we will never get in Ontario and they are kind of cool. We don't get many thunderstorms here though and I am looking forward to seeing those again.

Luh! Luh! Yes b'y! Da wind was some deadly!

Just came across this video of an extreme weather event from last year. It is a tornado video shot in the states. The elderly man filming survived but his wife and neighbour did not.

Below is another video of a tornado hitting a house.
