Last night I went out and the bugs were so thick it look like a light snow flurry when I pointed the flashlight into the sky. The bugs intensified in the beam of light as they swarmed to its' luminosity. Larger and larger months began circling and then -boom- a bat swooped through it to pick off one of the bigger moths. That escalated in less than a minute.

I wonder what part of the season Northern Ontario hits maximum bio-mass? Speaking of this - doesn't look like will have much of a blueberry crop this year, which lead to this story: Sudbury Man punches Black Bear. I would pull out the best quotes but it is such a short and fascinating read, just click the link. A instant classic.

Media recommendation: Any Real Ghostbuster episode by J. Michael Straczynski. Watching some old episodes with adult eyes was a shock - it did live up to my fond childhood memories. In fact it felt like a proto-Simpsons in its humour and some episodes' animation have great anime-style drawing. Watch anything from the first 2 seasons.
