Take a second and let this chart sink in...
1% of your fellow Canadians control 1/4 of the wealth, the top 20% hoard 3/4 of it.
We, the other 80%, exist on the final 1/4, with nearly half of Canadians live on scraps (40% of us exist off 3% of the wealth)
Never talk about 'fairness', 'democracy' or 'ethics' in Canada without having tattooed this division of wealth on your brain.
80 families in Canada (Rogers, Irving, McCains, Desmarais) hold as much wealth as the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island collectively own.
