I'd like to explore the Lacloche Ridge trail this weekend. Charlie has hiked it all the way from Camp Manitou to Whitefish Falls with boys camp. This weekend there is a work crew heading to Manitou to 'move the rock dock', which sounds like some serious labour to me. I had been thinking about offering pizza services to the work crew, but no firm plans yet.

I would also be interested in tagging along for the trail walk.  Are you looking at a full day's hike?  Not a bad article from 7 years ago in the Sudbury Star.

Journey with Jim: Knocking on Heaven's Gate

Our plan was a Saturday day trip to do some mountain hiking and explore some more of the trails (a 'heaven's gate' hike like Charlie's sounds great and is somewhere in my wishlist).

We have 3 extra seats in our car and can work with a variety of logistics.
