Exquisite corpse

One of my favorite ice-breakers is a version of the Surrealist's Exquisite Corpse technique where one person writes a question and another person answers the question without first seeing it.

I'm not sure how exactly why but one of the these Exquisite Corpse session was done on a computer (or perhaps re-typed into a file).  They are mostly done in paper-format and I still have a decade worth of these still kicking around in a small container somewhere.

The date on this file is September 4th 2001.


Why do Doves cry?
...because their very essence tells them to.

Do rainbows show up in space?
...yes, and as often as possible.

Why fear the reaper?
...to reestablish resistance.

Where are people free from egos?
...in a secret tunnel passage.

When do you wanna get down and make love?
...when the tide is low.

Who are the spirits of the forest?
...those who rather stand than crawl.

I concur. I love the ones you have included. The random connected statements sometimes made for astonishingly *exquisite* poetry. There was a time when paper and pencil were kept in my purse for times that called for an exquisite corpse.
