I haven't seen any of these but I found a list.

ORCA: The Killer Whale (1977)

Filmed in Gros Morne, Bay of Islands, Frenchman's Cove Little Port and others

I saw the original Screamers in a movie theater in Ottawa. It was loosely based on a Philip K Dick idea and was a pretty solid B-movie. The sequel was filmed in St.John's and Dinosaur Park, Alberta.

Behind the Wall has an abandoned light house - but the single IMDB review is discouraging. You cannot trust IMDB reviews so it might be worth tracking down... Outlander sound like 'Predator V. Vikings'.

Depending on your definition of horror, you could include 'The Boys of St. Vincent'

Going through the list the TV show 'Airplane Repo' sounded like an interesting premise...
