WTF? what the hell are they doing to those figures. Damn it that was disturbing. wanna know what was cool about the face melting scene in Raiders... it was like 4 seconds long! That was disturbing.

And come on... The whole reason Star Wars got as popular as it did was merchandising. To not have it completely over exploited would not make sense.

I think the new movies might suck. I hope it doesn't, but it does have the possibility to. I really really hope it doesn't.

I just bought my tickets to see Star Wars : The Force Awakens and I am getting really excited now. I still think there is a HUGE possibility that it will not live up to the hype and expectations but some Millennium Falcon Blasting in hyperspace in 3D is hopefully going to make me mess my pants! I couldn't get into the IMAX screening but hey... I'm going opening day and there will be so many freaks! I'm hoping for at least 3 Slave Leia's.

I'll give my thoughts and reviews as soon as I get home.

Star Wars man! Star Wars!

I'm glad to see 2-cent Productions has returned!

And, um, well....  The editing was pretty tight, and that black X-wings looked slick... and, er..... your fingernails seem shiny.

I didn't even know Star Wars was premiering, today - but you have actually managed to transfer a bit of excitement - which millions of dollars of forced advanced buzz could not do. I guess that's the power of a 2-cent Productions joint.

Words cannot describe how good it felt to make that.

I got that X-wing at toy-r-us a couple weeks ago for free. they had a table set up with all the parts and you got to take it home. I got 2, one for me and one for teagan.

I had to re-download vine so I could make that movie. Vine is a pretty neat app for videos. I have no idea yet on what to use to edit videos together. at least with vine you have 7 seconds to record the video, just push the button and hold it down to record.. let go and it pauses like the old VHS tapes. these new fangled phones just makes a new file when you pause them... so weird.

I just hope Reb approves of me using the 2-Cent Production name. If he disapproves I'll have to take down the video, smash my phone, Burn YouTube servers, Blow up Google, and melt the internet so there can be no trace of my sullying of the 2-Cent Production name. *crosses fingers*

I hope Reb disagrees just for the sheer carnage you have promised *crosses fingers*

I'm impressed what you got down in 15 minutes. I always want to survey all these new media programs and gadgets - but I still don't have a cellphone.... Maybe........

I have never forgot about 2 cent productions and still think it is the best name!!

We should have a collaboration on a new 2 Cent Production project for 2016!!

Wow! That is going back what feels like into ancient memories! I remember Herbie 2000 (I am pretty sure that was the name) but can't remember anything about it! Do you remember it at all?

Here is memory that's been kicking around:

A home-video Navy SEALS versus an Islamic Terrorist chief. Something to do with a old floppy disk. The show-down is our parent's bedroom at McNaughton where the commando and terrorist keep pulling out bigger and bigger guns. I think I was the commando and Neil the terrorist. I think I was the terrorist and Neil the commando.

Is this an early 2 Cent Production?

This memory has popped up enough that I did some research. I believe the inspiration for the video was the movie Navy SEALs and an Itchy and Scratchy cartoon from "Itchy & Scratchy & Marge" episode where they keep pulling bigger weapons until they destroy the world. Both came out in 1990, so this might be the date of the home video.

Reb: Herbie 2000 was an stop-motion (not really stop motion.. more like *film 2 seconds* *pause* *move car a bit* *film 2 seconds* *pause*....) movie that stared a mask car that went up against an AT-ST.... then it transformed into a ED-209... I remember the line "he let everything fly but it was no use"... and I remember your line "uh oh" in the meekest of voices... The ending was something about Herbie turning into 3000 and he was coming for you... busting through the paper "coming for you!" Oh and the ED-209 Fan club was somewhere in the middle with ED-209 posing with some girl sitting on his gun

Hobb: I don't remember how the movie was at all but that sounds about right, I do remember that it had the "getting ready scene" where I loaded all my guns and got them ready to I think the Top Gun soundtrack I believe. On that memory stick I sent you there is that episode of Archer I said I loved that has the same scene in it.. I felt they ripped us off on that. I don't think it was a 2 Cent Production tho... 2 Cent Productions were usually involving toys I thought. I could be wrong tho. I think you were the terrorist...

I remember making one 2 Cent about a guy thinking the world was going to end and jumping off a building and on the way down there was a sign that said "false alarm". The guy was a a GI Joe held by a string and Matt voiced his thoughts during his decent all done my him while lying on the floor and then we went to him lying there dead. That still makes me laugh

I also remember a Ghost hunting movie with me and Reb and we had a Boglin that was the creature and we zapped it and used baby power for it exploding.

The biggest production was the one we did for my school project "the Calemander Chest" That was huge. Spent a whole weekend doing that.

another movie is still think about and laugh at was the time reb filmed the cabbage patch kid and Matt narrated it saying "I smell good don't I.... I smell REAL GOOOOOOD"
:lol!: :lol!: :lol!:

That is a pretty impressive memory!! I remember all of those productions now. We were ahead of our time.

I think we need to keep it alive and keep producing!

I remember Matt's line "I smell REAL GOOOOOOD" and the title 'Herbie 2000' but not too much more. Neil skill in Lore-keeping (teenage years) and History (2 Cent Productions) is impressive!

THe idea of doing another 2 Center is appealing. Right now I', looking forward to his review of the new Star Wars

Here is my review of Star Wars :

It was good.

that's about it. Wasn't great. wasn't bad, just good. but really don't know right now if it is great yet. I think a great movie holds up after many many viewings. I know I do want to watch it again. And if I can watch it again in 3D I'll be very happy. The 3D was awesome tho. Nothing like trying to reach out to see if you can touch a Star Destroyer. I'm really happy that they are going to pump out more movies like this tho. I'd like to say that JJ did to Star Wars what he did to Star Trek, but he didn't, It's pretty much got the same same feel Star Wars always has, but he really hit home giving Star Wars the feeling of being Huge! Everything felt quite massive in the movie. That was great.

What I was really surprised at was the lack luster turnout. I thought there was going to be huge crowds and line but no. I got there an hour early and there was 20 people in the theater before us and I got 2nd row center seats. I'd say roughly about 100 people showed up to my screening. I wanted screams and clapping when the crawl started. That was the biggest let down.

I suggest seek it out in 3D. It is kinda annoying to watch movies in 3D cuz of the glasses but I feel it gives you a good sence of grandness to it. (ie when that girl is spelunking in that crashed star destroyer)

I hope I can go see it again in true IMAX that they got at that Vaughn Theater you see just as you are getting into Toronto. I saw the Matrix Revolutions there and it was awesome. So loud and so big.

It's been a long time since I've seen a movie in theater but you remind my of the spectacle of seeing a movie like on a big screen. I haven't seen any 3D, honestly I thought it was a fad imported from the 1950s, but it does seem here to stay -- you describe it as an also almost form of primitive VR.

Too bad the crowd was lackluster but there are a lot of scars from the prequels that still have to heal...

Any other cool scenes besides scavenging a crashed space ship?
