To follow-up on a comment you made in another thread:
The first Dr.Science clip I watched begins with a statuary rape joke ("I swear she was 16!") while this one is more clearly a pedophile (or more accurately a hebephile) joke. Statutory rape jokes are bad taste but jokes about child molesting cross a moral line. I think the reason they crossed that line is too set up the torture and death of Dr.Science. They took the basic bit ('won't it be funny if a kid show presenter was a scum bag') and took it to the limit so that he deserved the graphic abuse he was about to receive at the hands of Damien (from the Omen films).

Seeing a young John Candy is like seeing an old friend. He is so familiar to me it's like I knew him.
