I'd like to try Fury of Dracula- its like Scotland yard, but you are after the vampire across Europe.
I am intrigued by Stone Age, but it looks repetitive.
Anyone tried 7 Wonders with kids?
The various cthulu games look interesting, but are expensive and look piece/token-heavy.

We tried the Hoopla/Cranium game down in Newfoundland and bought a copy to play here. Tried it out with Mike's twins and it went well. It's just a mixture of pictionary, charades, playdo sculpting, humming songs and physical games - but that's enough for me. I like it because you can dive into co-operative, creative improvised play from the first card.
Is Fury of Dracula a re-print of the classic (but ancient) Games Workshop about Dracula?

Here is a list of games I have enjoyed recently.
Mysterium (this is one of the best games I have played recently). It is kind of like clue but with abstract art. It is hard to explain but I will try to explain it. There is a group of paranormal investigators and a ghost. There is a murder committed in a location with a specific weapon by a specific person. The location is the first thing you have to solve. Each investigator has there own location to solve. The locations are abstract art pictures and the ghost gives clues to which locations by giving an investigator other abstract picture cards. It is hard to explain but it is a co-op game and it is a lot of fun. Here is a link to board game geek with a better description LINK
Roll For the Galaxy - I enjoyed this game, however, I have only played it once. It has a lot of dice and you are developing worlds, technology and ship goods around. It just have a nice feel to it. Here is a link for it. LINK
Suburbia - It is a city building game. I have played it a few times and really enjoyed it, however, the scoring for the game can be a little off in a two person game. The game is buying tiles and putting them down to make the best city.LINK
Pandemic - Great co-op game. Diseases are taking over the world and you and your team have to stop it. There is a variety of characters with various bonuses and you have to coordinate to survive. This ranks as one of my all time favourite board games. There are numerous expansions available. LINK
Flash Point - This game is very similar to Pandemic except instead of disease it is a fire and you are firemen. You play different characters with different skills. Takes coordination from characters to rescue everyone from the building. I quite enjoy it as it has explosions, flash overs and increasing structural damage that threatens to collapse the building. There are numerous expansions available. LINK
I will add more when I think of them. Linda knows a lot more than I do and can probably recommend some as well.
