1979 - President Carter signs order to fund Islamic terrorist to attack the Soviet-aligned Afghanistan government creating a 30+ civil war
1980 - President Reagan gives arms to both sides in the brutal Iran-Iraq civil war
1991 - President Bush I invades Iraq and promises to "bomb it back to the stone age", as Iraqi society collapses Islam rises in the void.
2001 - President Bush II invades Afghanistan in a violent botched 20+ year occupation
2003 - President Bush II invades Iraq in a violent botched occupation giving birth to ISIS
2011 - President Obama uses NATO to destroy the Libyan government, chaos ensues and ISIS fill the void
2011 - President Obama greenlights funding and arming of terrorists in Syria to topple the Russian-aligned government
2016 - Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria lie in smoking ruins as machine-gun armed Islamic crazies roam the streets. America rotates between arming those terrorists and bombing them.
