The closer we get to November the more dark money is poured into 'intelligence' and 'public relation' operations to win the election.  In 2016 1.4 billion dollars of undisclosed political spending occurred, nearly 10x the amount in 2012, this money gets spent on social media campaigns, funding activists/militias groups, hiring private investigators, and regular corporate advertising. This means the US media and social media platforms are going to be battlegrounds for massive shadowy operations.

In 2016 a major factor was Alex Jones embrace of Trump unleashing his "anarchist" internet followers into voting Republican, this time Qanon is playing Jones' role. This will act like an accelerant to  the Trump cult's descent into violence.  

Trump has given the Israeli everything they wanted (Syria's Golan Heights, embassy moved to Tel Aviv, the language of race war) so both the far-right Israeli govenment and a variety of Zionist 'mega-donors' will

Their Republican platform is 'hatred of liberalism'. "Liberalism" means anything from cannibal pedophiles to unionized postal workers, it psychology power comes from "hating the Other." This Republican Party did not publish a 'political platform' until forced to, they are lazy and want to re-act with hate not propose idea.

The Democratic platform is "Reagan Republicanism" to try and steal "serious" Republicans who are unhappy with Trump. Like 2016, the Democrats moving right allow Trump to play as the 'peace' candidate. Choosing a right-wing prosecutor for vice-president allows Democrats to pointlessly embrace "law-and-order" and alienate their base voters. No matter how chaotic Trump's administration is, he is seen as a 'law-and-order' strongman.

Trump's earliest and deepest supporters are police unions and private prisons. Anglo-American police traditional work quietly as the 'paramilitary' wing of the Conservative and Republican parties but Trump has an open political alliance.  The 2016 election was decided when the FBI re-opened an investigation into Clinton's emails a week before the election.  In 2006 the RCMP did the same thing to Liberals right before the election.

Many white terrorist groups have been emboldened by the Trump/police alliance and the "hate the Other" mass psychology. In the 1930s the Nazis would drive into left-wing German town to pick fights and then scream about 'communist violence' and the need for a strong male leader. This dynamic is occurring in the US where largely Democratic cities are targeted for street battles. White terrorist group want to unleash 'chaos' knowing that will lead the masses to vote for 'order'.

Biden is an elderly corrupt Democrat - but he knows where the bodies are buried. Vice-presidents often run the shadowy intelligence side of the administartion and Biden is neck-deep in the Democrat's coup in the Ukraine where 5 billion dollars and the support of neo-nazi toppled a pro-Russian administration.  

The fact that James Woolsey went to Biden to pass info about Trump shows that Biden represents the deep interests of the Democratic elite. The 'russiagate' operation against Trump is about the level of Democrat operation. It was unpopular, unsuccessful and ultimately solidified Trump.

Within just the last week of August there were 4 potential international conflicts: South China Sea (US spy plans buzzed Chinese ships), Venezuela (US ramped up invasion forces in Columbia), Syria (Russian troops chased off trespassing US forces), international airspace (Russian planes harassed NATO bombers). Any of these could 'ignite' in the next two months.

Add in a potential 'winter wave' of COVID-19...or a surprise 'miracle vaccine' right before the election....

Corporate media, social media and street activism will be flooded with re-election operation (funded by untraceable dark money) for the next two months.

The Republic ops will focus on 'hating the Libs' by whipping up victimization hysteria among Trump's base.

The Democrat ops will focus of how good things were pre-Trump (there own version of MAGA) with cringey nods to political correctness

Canadians probably want to unplug their nervous systems from corporate media/social media for the next 2 months as a bunch of toxic ops will be passing through.

The Atlantic monthly's unsourced attack that 'trump thinks soldiers are suckers' was a feint to get Trump to double-down on militarism to hinder his ability to play the anti-war card with a few minor troop reductions. The journalist was an old neo-con outlet.

Trump's Response was to get 235 retired senior military leaders to write that "With the Democratic Party welcoming to socialists and Marxists, our historic way of life is at stake. Trump will restore law and order domestically."

Democrats responded by pointing out that "In 2018, Trump was criticized for canceling his appearance at a 2018 ceremony at the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in Belleau, France, because of rain."

A Trump victory will mean that capitalism is re-imposed on the post-covid population with an iron fist.
Biden will try to ease the re-imposition with some funding - but it will require cutting other programs.

The poli-sci nerds are saying that unless Biden wins by over 10%, Trump will refuse the results and move into "lawfare" mode to delegitimize Biden.

Trump's been hinting at going into 'spoiler' mode since July and has enough police loyalty and radical right terrorists to make a semi-credible play for a coup. It is hard imagine how the US election going peacefully without at least a Gore v Bush legal battle.

The radical right derives so much of their energy from being the 'victim' of the 'LEft' that a Trump loss might actually be preferable to them! They can imagine what a Trump second term might have been: a noble lost Qanon cause.

Plenty of Biden TV ads, Trump using cheaper Facebook and just tossing red meat: kill your Marxist teachers!

It's going to be a fight between the 'corporate centerism' and 'populist authoritarianism'. Trump has no place to go but further right, but it is not because the Democrats have claimed the left, it's because it sells to his base who want aggression and violence. And the corporate media is so inept and clueless they have little counter to this.

Bannon is out on bail and on FOXNEWS doubling-down on Trump's 'spoiler' angle claiming the "liberals" running "big tech" will suppress Trump's win. He said that "War" begins on Novemeber 3rd when Trump wins/loses and the Democrats start to challenge them.

So Nov 3rd to inauguration in January is going to a massive clusterfuck as neither side seems willing to accepts any vote count as legitimate. Cue the lawyers, Supreme Court and woo-woo militias....

My threads like these serve two goals: 1) a feeling of control over scary things, and 2) a record of what I was thinking at the time so I can look back and see how right/wrong I was.

But I'm tired of America - all of it.

I'd happily spend the rest of my life not hearing about it.

I filled up my twitter folder (yep I look at twitter accounts one at a time) with weird art-bots and poetry generators.  

My choices were either @gifs_bot or months of doomscrolling  ....

The first step to banishing the demogorgon is removing yourself from its mind-melting aura...

The hard part is that so much media is still US-centric even art-bots are largely US stuff.
